The E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 were published by the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, vide notification number S.O. 360 (E), dated the 19th May, 2022 in the Gazette of India and they came into force from the 1st day of April, 2023.
Now there is second amendment Notification issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and it will called as E-Waste Management Second Amendment Rules, 2023.
They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
