Export policy Amendment for Betal Leaves
As per the amended policy vide notification no 30/2015-2020 issued by DGFT, New Delhi on date 23.09.2021 the export of “Betel Leaves” to European Union having HS code no 14049040 are allowed only after registration with “SHEFEXIL” (Shellac And Forest Products Export Promotion Council) instead of “APEDA” .
SHEFEXIL (Shellac & Forest Products Export Promotion Council) supports 860 individual products with 2140.94 US$ Million of exports in 2018-19. October 2007 SHEFEXIL was declared as the nodal EPC for the North Eastern Region of India, to facilitate all exports from the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram & Sikkim.
