For who don’t know that, as per recently issued notification by dgft the policy has been changed from free to free subject to pre registration of CHIMS “CHIP IMPORT MONITORING SYSTEM” for import of products i.e. “Electronic integrated circuits: Processors and controllers, whether or not combined with memories, converters, logic circuits, amplifiers, clock and timing circuits, or other circuits” covered under hs code 8542.
