Hello users, Please find here the copy of Gazate notification for all steel and steel products Quality control order which has been issued by Ministry of steel, India on 22.12.2020.
Please be note that the goods mentioned in this notification must have BIS marking when imported in India. We suggest you to please check the DPIIT website too for your products if its made of metal and not listed here to acertain whether DPIIT has not issued any QCO on such products.
This order may be called the Steel and Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2020.
(2) Save as otherwise provided in this order, it shall come into force on the date of its publication in the
Official Gazette.
(3) It shall apply to steel and steel products specified in column (3) of Table 1 and goods or articles
specified in column (2) of Table 2, except steel and steel products manufactured domestically for export
which conform to any other specification required by a foreign buyer
